begun in December 2008, before Boxing Day.

Debenhams Biggest Ever Sale starts 26 December
2008 in store (starts 25 December 2008 online).
There will be up to 70% off selected fashion and
homeware ranges including Designers at Debenhams.
Selected departments will not be participating.
Discounts at Debenhams began on 16 December 2008.
Gap's sale started on 16 December 2008 - up to
50%.
H&M's sale started on 16 December - up to
50% off.
Marks & Spencer sales starts instore 27 December.
New Look's sale started 22 December - up to 70%
off.
Superdrug's 90% off sale (items starting from
10p) begins on 26th December online - may apply
in-store, too.
Topshop's sale begins 26 December. Includes a
buy one get one free offer.
Warehouse sale started on 17 December - up to
50% off.
